IDS Mladá Boleslav • Best Junior for Daddy's Boy, World Winner Went Badly on GrassSun struggled against clouds and cold wind in muddy Mladá Boleslav all day long. French bulldogs were shown in a grassy ring together with uncommonly large breeds - Mastino Napoletano, Cane Corso and Rottweiler. Massimiliano Mannucci, an Italian judge, Knight of the Italian Republic for cynological merits and a specialist in Bloodhounds, Amstaffs, Rottweilers, Ridgebacks but French bulldogs as well, was judging instead of earlier announced Rostislav Soukup. He relished with our Frenchies and awarded CAJC both to Daddy's Boy and Dalila Anima Canis; Daddy's Boy became The Best Junior (Junior BOB) at the end as well. Thanks to Jiri Haman for some photos of Daddy in the ring and to Jana Kastlova for helping us with taking snaps as well! click here |
NDS and IDS Leipzig • Junior Leipzig Winner for Daddy's Boy!Whereas Saturday wasn't very successful for our Daddy's Boy, as he qualified only the fourth in Junior Class, Sunday came with a nice compensation. He got both Anw.Dt.Jg.Ch.VDH and Jg.-CAC and fought out the title of Junior Leipzig Winner 2010 (VDH-Jugendsieger Leipzig 2010) at the end! Thanks to complaisant ladies Alena Tvrzova and Bohdana Vokounova for taking snaps of Daddy in the ring! click here |
PUPPIES AWAITED!Would everything end up well, our Betty - MultiCH BETTY BOOP Anima Canis - should become a mom in the middle of September. Joyful news was proven by the USG just today. The Sire of expected litter is MultiCH VICKING du Fiacre de Montparnasse, a wonderful pied male living in Switzerland. For pedigree and and further info about this litter, hopefully interesting from breeder's point of view as well, please click HERE. |
NDS Mladá Boleslav • Daddy's Boy - Ex1, CAJC and Junior BOB!Daddy's Boy went to Mladá Boleslav only unwillingly. Two of his pack-mates were just heating at home and so he had absolutelly no mind to perform in a stupid show. In addition, he was first alone in show, accompanied nor by mother, aunt or grandmother, what didn't contribute to his confidence as well. Despite of all his restlessness and nervousness, Daddy's Boy succeeded to persuade the judge, Ms. O. Dolejšová, about his perfection and was awarded CAJC and even Junior BOB after all! His sisters Dalila and Danaé were doing well too, having been qualified Excellent 2 and Excellent 3 in the Junior Class. Thanks to Mrs. Alena Tvrzová and Mrs. Lenka a Mr. Petr Kaška for snaps from the show! click here |
CLUB CHAMPION OF KFB for Betty Boop Anima Canis!Another cheerfull envelope fell into our hands just today. Our Betty Boop became the Club Champion of KFB as of 25 June 2010! She collected 234 points in shows up to now, i.e. almost twice as much than required (120 points). Congratulations, Betty! |
AUSTRIAN CHAMPION for Adela Anima Canis!!!Adela, our Czech Champion, Czech Grandchampion and Club Champion, became Austrian Champion as well! We found the envelope with the diploma in our postbox just today. It's a joyous end of the show career of our fawn princess. Multichampion Adela, whom I once almost gave up for lost after lame results in Junior Class, clearly documents how important is not to lay down but go ahead. Congratulations, Adela! |
IDS Leszno, PL • Betty Boop - CWC, CACIB, BOSWhile one half of domestic exhibitors fumbled in Czech Klatovy and the second half in Slovak Nitra, Betty Boop and me took the road to Polish Leszno. 53 French bulldogs met in this city of Jan Amos Komensky. Betty Boop was surprisingly the only one present representative of the Czech Republic but represented it quite well. She fought out CACIB in keen competition of domestic females and she became the Best Female of Breed (=BOS) on top. Poland was the third country where Betty Boop won CACIB (her fifth) and so she met the last requirement to be awarded the International Champion (C.I.B.) title! click here |
101 FRENCH BULLDOGS SEEKING FOR A NEW HOMEJiri Kaifosz (*1954, www.kaifosz.cz) is a well known, although not hugely medialized, modern sculptor and painter, often exhibiting both in the Czech Republic and abroad. He created a very unique object few years ago: a pack of 101 clay French bulldogs (later the pack was even enlarged) installed to the shape of the Czech flag. Frenchies are of life-size, each of them differs from the others, each of them is an original. The whole pack is now shown, together with other sculptures and paintings of J. Kaifosz, in The Gallery of One Thing in Prague. After years of common life, Mr. Kaifosz took a radical decision by occasion of current exposition: to dismiss the pack! This is a unique opportunity for all French bulldog lovers, breeders and collectors. 101 fantastic Frenchies are seeking for a new home! click here |
