The special show of Slovak Bulldog and Mops Club was held in Budča on a sunny, easygoing May Day. The Hungarian judge Mr. Tamás Som was engaged in English Bulldogs first, our Frenchies came the second. Quality of 39 shown bullies was surprisingly fairly good and well-balanced. Despite of that, Mr. Tamás Som was lavish in very goods and goods but short in titles.
The fawn pied male Eamon Chi-Kikamonka Bull (M. Kissová) has got CAJC and the champion male Quper von Glandorf (E. Pongracz) CAC in males but titles were awarded neither in Intermediate nor in Open Class. Bora von Glandorf (E. Pongracz) won the Junior Class in females, CACs were given to Anysa Beauty Bully (T. Ďuračková) in Intermediate, Dolores Hawortia (M. Vašíček) in Open and Ella Golynski Raj (E. Pongracz) in Champion Classes. Ms. Eleonora Pongracz a Mr. Istvan Terkan from well-known Hungarian kennel Von Glandorf crowned their success by getting the Best of Breed (BOB) title which was awarded to their brindle champion, two years old male Quper von Glandorf.
Our
Betty Boop wasn't very successfull in the Champion Class. She tended more to run and jump on a green sward than to walk it over with elegancy. Mr. Som didn't comment his judging and written reports were issued only to CACs and Res. CACs and that's why I have no idea what was good and what was wrong. The only certainity is he finally rewrote Excellent 2 to Excellent 3 in Betty's Diploma. Napoo.
