IDS České Budějovice • Favorites and our Daddy's Boy Scored Most
In České Budějovice, French bulldogs were welcomed by a sunny autumn day and the Belgian judge Rita Reyniers, who replaced originally assigned Hana Táborová. However this all-rounder isn't specialized in French bulldogs, she judged them with certainty but strictness as well. Only 43 % of them got qualification Excellent, almost 40 % Very Good and 17 % even only Good. Our
Daddy's Boy passed well and picked up his former success again - he gained CAC and Res. CACIB. Moreover, he fulfilled the last condition to be awarded the Czech Champion title!

Only one Very Good was awarded to males in Junior and Intermediate Classes (Eddie Jiskra naděje, owner R. Stará), all other dogs were uncompromisingly classified Good. First - but only two - Excellents appeared in Open Class (our Daddy's Boy and Darcy Batom, son of our Agador, of S. Perejaslavec). Even in Champion Class, winner of which was Store Linde's Kleos le Regal (J. Kreplová), was Maxík Čmoudovo srdce (J. Tregler) classified Very Good. Our Daddy's Boy succumbed to Kleos in fight for CACIB but he overmatched the German champion Ago vom Himmelsstürmer (O. Steinert) in run for Res. CACIB.

Ean-B. Batom (B. Tomanová) was the only one junior female classified Excellent. In absence of Excellents in junior males, she became the Best of Juniors as well. Corida Alsamar (M. Saulichová) won Intermediate Class, pied Best Looking Flat Devils (K. Pejšová) succeeded best in Open Class. Later on, Best Looking overmatched both Corida and champion Butterfly Milagnes (J. Kreplová) in fight for CACIB. The Best of Breed title was awarded to Store Linde's Kleos le Regal of J. Kreplová after all.
I was rather sorry for fine-looking female Soubrett's Zara von Rue Longue (H. A. Akkermans-Timmers), who came to Č. Budějovice unusually even from the Netherlands but had to return only with Very Good she got in Intermediate Class.
