Club Show of KFB • Zlonín, 22 September 2012
Fifty six exhibitors with seventy two French bulldogs entered the rich sponsored 34th Club Show of The French Bulldog Club (KFB). They came to Zlonín above all from Bohemia, less representatives came from Moravia and Silesia; the show probably wasn't attractive enough for foreign exhibitors. A positive surprise was high number of not breeding French bulldog owners and fanciers.

The other surprise was extraordinary absence of Mr. and Mrs. Kolář (Suverén Kennel) and their traditional Club Winners but Leona Sosnová (Janoel Kennel) and some other breeders didn't come as well. The show was directed by Radovan Vidmar (Zaragosa Kennel), among others sponsor of the show and reviewer of the recently published booklet "Talks about Frenchies" of Pavel Kolář. Libuše Ubrová was judging with love but strictness as well. Her colleague, the judge Ilona Potůčková, was working as the Ring Director this time.

Cute female OLDŘIŠKA ANTONIE Team Soft (P. Purger) successfully competed with male ANDY SCHLECK z Vojtova dvorku (A. Veselá) for the title The Best Puppy. EMMY z Lounského chovu (L. Komarová) succeeded best in the Youth Class and Linde's RENDOLA CHIANTI (J. Kreplová) in the Junior Class. CORIDA Alsamar (M. Saulichová) got the CAC in the Intermediate Class, BEST LOOKING Flat Devils (K. Pejšová) shined in the Open Class. Another favorite, FANCY SUNNY Bitt Box (J. Matuška), won the Winner Class. After all, BEST LOOKING overmatched her rivals in fight for the Club Winner title.
As MAKANKOA'S Jocky comes from Spain, BEST LOOKING was sure to be awarded the cup for the Best Individual of Czech Origin in this moment. It wasn't enough for this larky fawn-pied female and she finally won over Jocky in a thrilling combat and enlarged her trophy collection of the The Best of Breed (BOB) cup.

Young male EAGLE-EYED Flat Devils, another Frenchie of Kateřina Pejšová and half-brother of winning BEST LOOKING, became the winner of popular and closing Viewer's Contest.

It's cheering that the Club Show of KFB enjoys growing interest both of exhibitors, viewers and sponsors. With respect to that, the capacity of traditional venue, restaurant U Jezera, seems to become unsatisfactory. It might be a good idea to try to find equally friendly but more spaceful venue for the next 35th Club Show. Despite of that may be said the 34th Club Show came well and all participants enjoyed it with pleasure.
