IDS Mladá Boleslav • Best Junior for Daddy's Boy, World Winner Went Badly on Grass

Sun struggled against clouds and cold wind in muddy Mladá Boleslav all day long. French bulldogs were shown in a grassy ring together with uncommonly large breeds - Mastino Napoletano, Cane Corso and Rottweiler. Massimiliano Mannucci, an Italian judge, Knight of the Italian Republic for cynological merits and a specialist in Bloodhounds, Amstaffs, Rottweilers, Ridgebacks but French bulldogs as well, was judging instead of earlier announced Rostislav Soukup. He relished with our Frenchies and awarded CAJC both to Daddy's Boy and Dalila Anima Canis; Daddy's Boy became The Best Junior (Junior BOB) at the end as well.

Kimmy od Koberne hraze of I. Dvorakova qualified Excellent 1 in Intermediate Class but without title. A pied male Geronimo Bully Royal Club of J. Vrzakova enjoyed the victory in Open Class (later he became Res. CACIB as well) and Rufus-Frenchie vom Künigelberg of R. Vogel and J. Fritthum in Champion Class; presently Rufus won CACIB as well.

As mentioned above, victory in Junior Class won "our" Dalila Anima Canis of M. Saulichova. The Russian female Zon Mirekl Princess Vilona of O. Zabroda was successful in Intermediate Class, cream Angel Blond by Condor of V. Nyplova in Open Class and pied Zon Mirekl Rocket Bomb in Champion Class. Angel Blond was a big surprise of the show at all. She defeated both Russian females in fight for CACIB and was even awarded Best of Breed (BOB) at the end. "You have the best French bulldog female I have ever judged," said M. Mannucci to Angel's happy owner.

When Usain Bolt comes here for an athletic meeting or Stefan Edberg for a tenis exhibition, media have a hot topic for many days. Participation of World Winner 2009, Russian pied female Zon Mirekl Rocket Bomb (born 2005-11-04), in Mlada Boleslav remained almost unheeded. Unfortunatelly - and similarly to A'Vigdors Idee Fixe in winter Brno - Rocket Bomb wasn't in full show condition in Boleslav. Moreover, ring surface wasn't ideal for her, she wasn't wont to perform on grass. Nevertheless, victory in Champion Class was egough for her to became the Czech Champion based on reciprocal agreement between CMKU and RKF.
