IDS Č. Budějovice, CZ ● A Nice Day and Res. CAC
The fairground in Č. Budějovice welcomed 39 French bulldogs in a sunny Sunday morning. Newfoundlanders and rottweilers were shown first in the ring but Slovak judge Tibor Havelka decided resolutely, quickly and loudly and so Frenchies had turn already before lunch.
There was no surprise in females. Amy Sunny Bitt Box (J. Matuska) defeated our Betty Boop in Champion Class, won and became CACIB at the end. Res. CACIB was awarded to Diva Aglaos Minimolos (J. Kreplová). CACIB in males was considered to be a point of favorites like A'Vigdors Don de la Nature (J. Matuska, Young Class) or Lui Aimeé Devil for Janoel (L. Sosnová, Champion Class). Austrian brindle guy Rufus-Frenchie vom Künigelberg (R. Vogel, Intermediate Class) and pied males Diplomate-Ambassadeur of Gypsy the Dog at Golden Eyes (L. Kaška) a Kimmy od Koberné hráze (J. Dvořáková) completed the team. All were finally surprisingly cut out by an almost unknown brindle male Ambasader od Dona Carmine (J. Dlouhý)! And not enough: this almost 5 years old bow-wow, shown only third time in his life, won BOB few minutes later! In contrast to Susan Boyle, Ambasader's owner survived the immediate increase of popularity (above all among owners of mating-ready females) safe and sound...
Thanks to Ms. Lenka Kaska for ring-photos of Betty Boop!
